Back Street Cafe in Muldraugh

I stopped today to pick up lunch. I don't know what I loved the most, the red cabbage or the dessert that Chris gave to me. If you want good food and a wonderful owner, go here.

Very nice employees. Great atmosphere.

Wife and I were there this evening. First time eating there. It had a feel of restaurants in New Orleans. No doubt we will eat there again.

My second visit wasn't as impressing as the first. I tried their Thursday German lunch special and it seemed just so so, the cabbage was too sweet, the schnitzel Patty and gravy could have been Sysco. I had high hopes it would be closer to the food I grew up on and they were selling a ton of it that day.If you go get the country fried steak instead.

Great food. Large portions. Nice prices. Great place to sit down and enjoy your meal. If you know Muldraugh this place is a diamond in the rough.

Staff was very welcoming. Food was ok. Waitress needs to be trained on how to wear a mask properly though

The service was fantastic the food was awesome they are so polite and friendly. This was our first time there but most definitely not our last

The Back STREET Cafe is a great little place to go eat they have cheap prices and large portions for the price their service is fast and friendly and it is a always very clean

Used to live in Muldraugh thought I would try it was tired of DQ I've been here quite a few times now I've moved away and still come back for that amazing food and great atmosphere, love the food and the service. My favorite from the menu is the General Patton Burger. YUMMM Good service and very good food. Good atmosphere. It's got a home town feel if you know what I mean. Definitely suggest this place.

This place sure knows how to satisfy their customers. Constantly with a helpful mindset. The food is conveniently priced, regularly fresh and clean.

Clean, fast with a party/group size orders worth of food and the staff to include the personal thanks from the manager was great! The food, even better. Majority of us had the Thursday special. Yuuuuum!

The place is beautiful, the food is very good and the service great. The desserts are amazing!

Not the best but not the worst

Unfortunately did not experience what others have. First time customers, I had the Wed special Tuna Noodle casserole. It was so dry could not eat it. Asked for cream sauce that might help it. They brought warm milk. I would be embarrased to serve this dish. On the other hand, my husband had the fried catfish and shrimp which was okay Too expensive for the portion sizes.Had the manager came over and showed concern for the quality of the dish we would probably come back and try again but that didn't happen although she was right there.

I went there and go me a salad becausw well i love the salads. But for an extra eggs for a salad they charged 2 bucks!! I can buy 1 dozen for that amount. I'll boil my own for all that. It's small businesses like this one that won't make it for these overpriced foods. I've beem so many places, expensive restuarant and never have I ever paid 2 dollars for extra eggs on a salad. This place is getting out of hands. And! They served my daughter raw chicken tenders. Haven't went back.

The food only gets more tasty each time we go! I love this place and the service can't be beat. The wait staff is so friendly and efficient. The whole staff cares that the food is hot, fresh and that you are satisfied!!! I love their sausage and iced tea. Never had better. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.I must take away from the previous rating. They lost the manager that made the place awesome. Now you have to wait 20 minutes just to get a menu. We have been here an hour now and still no food. I'm very disappointed and we will not be back.

I love the food at backstreet cafe. The food is fabulous. Will be going there every chance I get.

I took my Dad to backstreet for Father’s Day because it’s usually really good but our tater tot appetizer wasn’t cooked all the way and my Mom steak was undone and grey and her potato was cold. And they never offered a refill on our drinks. That was our third bad experience there. Never coming back

For a place so far from me. This place has such food, I'll keep going back. I had brisket, potatoe salad and baked beans. I tell you the brisket was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. No hard potatoes and the beans taste like they were smoked in the grill. OK, I gotta go this week. Just made myself hungry!

I highly recommend this place was amazingly delicious the staff were so welcoming made you feel right at home. Food was better than any cafe I've been too. To bad there's not one in Texas :(. But i Definitely found my place to eat when I travel back up this way.

Visited for two breakfasts back to back, and really enjoyed the food and service. Homey and friendly. I would have given it a 5 star, but I only had breakfast to go by.Very reasonably priced, as well. A few more expensive items as platter style, with LOTS of food on them, but my 3 egg omelet with two slices of toast o it cost 6.99. I got a side of grits to go with it for 1.50 extra. Very filling.

Absolutely love this diner. Super friendly staff! And great food! Anytime my boyfriend and I are in the Louisville area we make it a point to stop and eat here.

This place is worth giving a shot. They serve large portions for reasonable rates. Regularly well organized and with great character. Will come back again.

$10.99 for a piece of toast, two thin slices of lunch meat, ad some very very salty gravy/sauce (maybe parmesan) is outlandish! $2.25 for a frickin Sprite!So disappointed! The only saving Grace was a very attentive waitress!Multiply that by two because we both had the same thing, and it cost us $27 bucks for a snack plus $5 tip for the waitress! We will NOT another dime there!! Mark L.

Great food and friendly staff. Sam was our waitress, she was super friendly and very attentive. We ordered the pickle pizza, it was delicious! I highly recommend this place!!

Home fries with onion and pepper were excellent! Ham had good flavor. Very good breakfast.

I constantly arrive purchasing some food in this place. I like the efficient service and well prepared food. Never disappointing.

Had the biscuits and gravy. Not sure how any one person is supposed to finish that plate by themselves. It was huge. And good, though not great. Very tasty sausage.

Went here for lunch on Friday, I enjoyed the Cod fish dinner with wonderful corn cakes. Food was reasonably price. Thanks to the great staff - Cindy and Mary.

I had the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Very good country ham & the biscuits & gravy was excellent. Our waitress was exceptional. The prices are moderate, but fair. Very clean place.
